Connect to your Site Manually

1. Open Contribute. We have created this tutorial using Contribute 3 as an example but the methodology should be similar for all versions of the software.
2. Click on "Edit" then "My Connections"
   
   
   
3. *If you already have a connection to your website and it isn't working, highlight the connection and click "remove"
4. Click on "create"
   
   
5. Click "next"
   
   
6. Type in your website domain name. eg "http://mywebsite.com" and click "next"
   
   
7. Select "FTP" from the drop down menu
   
   
   
   
   
   1. What is the name of your FTP server? - type in your website's domain name e.g. "mywebsite.com"
   2. What is the FTP username? - type in the username given to you by Sage
   3. What is the FTP password? - type in the password given to you by Sage
   4. Click "next"
      
      
8. If Sage has provided you with a folder (directory), please enter it here or browse to the folder of the same name. If you have not been provided with a folder name, leave this section blank and press "next"
   
   
   
9. Now you are ready to surf to and edit the pages within your website.
